Well just last week our besties, Glenn and Kecia, took the boys for us while Brian and I enjoyed two days kid free!! Here are some of the darling pictures she took while we were out painting the town red.
Our darling Emma! So pretty in pink. The boys just adore her, she's the sister they don't have.
King of the mountain! This huge mound of snow in front of their house was perfect for a little pushing around!
Okay, let me explain this picture. I am holding a travel magazine. Yes, that's right, I just spent a glorious night on the 17th floor of the Little America, beautiful room, room service, fabulous everything, including the Jazz game the night before with the fabulous tickets Brian got me for my birthday (they won by the way, awesome game) and the next day, I say to myself, and then to Brian, time to plan our next vacation.
We have a nasty little habit of planning these elaborate vacations and then dragging Glenn and Kecia along with us. So Brian and I drive to Bountiful to a travel agent we've been wanting to try and came out an hour later all smiles. This travel book is for Mexico. We know we've already been there but we keep wanting to go back for longer. So we are playing with the idea of Yelapa for a couple of days and Puerto Vallarta for a week. We brought along the travel brochure for convincing power, even though they remember all our good times in Yelapa and no convincing was needed. Of course Glenn has never been to Hawaii, so we are starting to consider more and more the option of doing Maui for a week or so instead of Mexico. I also wouldn't mind Southern Caribbean.....too many choices.....so little time! We'll keep you updated on the destination!
The three cuties! The boys didn't even bring snow clothes, I didn't think Kecia would want to go to the trouble of getting them all dressed. Shows just what a fabulous mommy she is! The boys had a great time and I have to thank Glenn and Kecia again for how worry free they make leaving the kids for a night.

Wow! You sure love your vacations...but then who doesn't. I've been to Californee, Idaho...uh, Nevada...uh, yeah that's about it! Well, next time maybe you could try convincing us to come ha ha.
Hey, that is crazy about Jake's eye, I'm so glad that you caught it in time; there's nothing like the intuition of a Mother. I hope all goes well with his eye and wearing the glasses. He is so cute, we missed him in Primary on Sunday.
Maui, most definitely!!!
Your boys are such cuties! And what great friends to help you have a break. That's wonderful for you both to have a get-a-way, whereever it is, it would be great. Can't wait for you guys, jealous, but can't wait. And points to Brian for taking you to the Little America. That's wonderful!
