Field Trip to the Park

We took a day away from the books to check out a new park for a picnic and to see which animals were hanging around. Of course I can't resist a chance to take photos!
I just love spending time with these guys! We had a great time checking out baby ducks, baby turtles, and pulling garbage out of the pond.

- This morning as Jake is snuggling under my arm he says: "Mom what are you going to be for Halloween next year?" I say: "maybe something funky like a mermaid". Jake says: "That would be nice but I was thinking more along the lines of wonderwoman!" ~Now that is what I call an ego booster! Thanks Jakers!
- As the boys are cleaning the toy room, Tyler calls out to me and says "hey mom, what's it going to take to get fired from this job?"
